Cristobal Balenciaga diseinatzaile eta jostuna, goimailako joskintzako sortzaile garrantzitsuenetakotzat jjotzen da. Getaria arrantzale-herrian jaio zen, 1895ean, Donostiatik 29 kilometrora. Bertan dago haren bizitza, lana eta estiloa omentzen dituen museoa. Balenciagak diseinatutako 5.000 jantzi baino gehiagoko bilduma iraunkorra dago museoan, eta bi gune ditu: Aldamar eraikina, Dorre Etxeko markesen etxebizitza zaharra, eta kostara ematen duen leihale handia.
