Major congresses in Donostia / San Sebastian during the month of December

Many and varied national/international congresses and encounters have been sched-uled for the city in December. Here are a few of them:

  • November 30 December 2 |Sagardo Forum

    • The 5th Sagardo Forum will be staged from 30 November to 2 December 2023 at the Kursaal and the Erribera Kulturgunea in Astigarraga, an event organised by Sagardoaren Lurraldea on apples and their by-products, and cider tourism and culture. The Kursaal Conference Centre will be the venue for the 4th International Cider Competition on Thursday 30 November, and the 3rd International Cider Fair on Saturday 2 December. Also, on Friday 1 December Astigarraga's Erribera Kulturgunea centre will host a technical conference on apples, cider and cider tourism and culture, with national and international professional experts on hand to report on the global situation of the sector in recent years.
  • December 8-10 | Festival Be Veggie!

    • From 8 to 10 December the FICOBA trade fair facility will be hosting Be Veggie, an event focusing on 100%-vegetable foodstuffs and produce. Over the 3 days, many companies and associations will be showcasing their produce alongside some very different activities in relation to the vegan culture.
  • December 17 - 21 |  8th World Congress of Basque Collectivities

    • The 8th World Congress of Basque Collectivities will be held at the Kursaal from 17 to 21 December, with the slogan “Eraldaroa”. This forum for reflection is held every 4 years, and seeks to strengthen ties to Basque Communities Abroad, share experiences, and establish a working line between Basque public institutions and Basques abroad over the next 4 years. The 197 official "Euskal Etxeak" or Basque Centres in 25 countries have been invited to this World Congress.
