Major congresses in Donostia / San Sebastián in February

This February several national and international congresses and meetings are going to be held in different places in the city:

Road Passenger Transport SMEs National Congress (DIREBUS) – From the 21st to the 23rd of February

From the 21st to the 23rd of February the 3rd National Congress of Small and Medium-sized Road Passenger Transport Companies (SMEs), known as DIREBUS will be held at FICOBA. Some outstanding personalities in the field of mobility and representatives from the local and regional administrative authorities will be taking part in the event.

This third event will provide an opportunity for dialogue, the exchange of ideas and the formulation of strategies that will contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of the road passenger transport sector.

150 people will be taking part in the event which has received support from the Donostia San Sebastián Turismoa Convention Bureau.

Lifelong Guidance Congress (AEOP) – 22nd and 23rd of February

The Spanish Association of Guidance and Psycho-pedagogy (AEOP) in collaboration with the Public University of the Basque Country – EHU/UPV, has organized an international congress that will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of February at the Carlos Santa María Centre of the UPV in San Sebastián. Around 200 people are expected to take part in this event, which will be held thanks to the candidacy won with the support of the Donostia San Sebastián Turismoa Convention Bureau.

The main aim of the congress is to encourage debate on various aspects linked to lifelong guidance and to contribute to its scientific and political progress. It aims to provide a suitable space for guidance professionals from various autonomous communities and countries to meet, in order to provide an exchange of knowledge and experiences.
