The DSS Turismoa Convention Bureau at the IMEX America in Las Vegas

Alongside Turespaña, the DSS Turismoa Convention Bureau attended the 12th IMEX America event from 17 to 19 October in Las Vegas. San Sebastián shared the Turespaña Stand with 30 organisations (Convention Bureaux, DMCs, OPCs, hotels and venues), including the following destinations: Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Granada, Málaga and Bilbao.
The event enjoyed record participation with almost 15,000 in situ visitors over the three days of the trade fair, up by 17% against 2022 (12,800 participants). It was also attended by 3,400 exhibitor companies at 360 stands, from 100 countries from all over the globe. According to the information provided by the organisers, this year's IMEX America was visited by 5,000 professionals, of which 4,200 were hosted buyers or procurers, including 1,000 agents operating in the corporate market.
More than 80,000 business meetings were arranged over the three days between buyers and exhibitors. The San Sebastián Convention Bureau was able to meet up with some twenty agents organising congresses and incentives from various locations in the United States, Latin America and Australia, with an interest in appraising Donostia/San Sebastián for the organisation of professional events seeking destinations in Spain up to 2026.
