Major congresses in Donostia / San Sebastian during the month of October

Many and varied national/international congresses and encounters have been scheduled for the city in October. Some of these congresses arose from candidatures won and backed by the Donostia San Sebastián Turismoa Convention Bureau, such as the 3rd Turespaña Convention, the CONAIF congress and the AEDAF congress

Passion for Knowledge
P4K is an international science festival open to one and all, organised by the Donostia International Physics Center. It has an extensive programme of activities to create a meeting point between the scientific community and society. It will be staged from 2 to 7 October, at various locations such as Kutxa Kultur at Tabakalera, Victoria Eugenia and Palacio Miramar, and some 800 delegates are expected to attend
XIV International Conference on Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Architecture and Urban Planning (EESAP)
The 14th International EESAP4 Conference will be held on 4 and 5 October in Donostia / San Sebastián, at the UPV/EHU University of the Basque Country's Higher Technical School of Architecture (ETSASS). This professional event, bringing in some 200 delegates, will be addressing present and future challenges in relation to habitats
8th World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism 2023
The World Tourism Organization (WTO) and the Basque Culinary Center (BCC) are organising the 8th World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism from 5 to 7 October at the Tabakalera facility in Donostia / San Sebastian. The forum, which will have some 400 delegates, was created to promote the exchange of experiences between experts in tourism and gastronomy, and to promote gastronomy tourism as a factor in the development of destinations.
25th anniversary of San Sebastian Gastronomika
The 25th anniversary of San Sebastian Gastronomika Euskadi Basque Country will be staged from 9 to 11 October, with many a surprise in store this year. The Kursaal Congress Centre will again be playing host to many of the leading players over the last two and a half decades, and also to those now taking up the torch and forging new paths. Japanese and US cuisine will be the star attractions.
3rd Turespaña Convention
The 3rd Turespaña Convention will be held from 23 to 25 October at the Kursaal Conference Centre, focusing on the sustainable transformation of tourism, and homing in on three aspects: the environmental perspective, the social perspective, and the economic perspective. By way of a new feature, there will be a space this year for the presentation of sustainability success stories.
Congress - National Confederation of Energy and Fluid Fitting and Maintenance Company Associations (CONAIF)
The 33rd CONAIF congress will be held on 26 and 27 October at the Kursaal Conference Centre in Donostia / San Sebastián. The host association is Instagi, and some 300 delegates will be at the event
35th Congress of the AEDAF Spanish Tax Advisors' Association
The AEDAF congress will be held from 26 to 28 October at the Kursaal Conference Centre in Donostia / San Sebastián. Approximately 350 congress-goers will be discussing technical issues at plenary sessions and parallel meetings.
