Major congresses in Donostia / San Sebastian during the month of January

In January, several national and international congresses and meetings will be held in the city.Some of the most outstanding events are:

  • 23 - 25 January | International Workshop on Informatics with applications (WIWA)

    • This international congress will bring some 50 participants to Tecnun, Universidad de Navarra's Engineering School in San Sebastián. The event will take an interdisciplinary approach to a number of major issues concerning emerging topics such as systems on a chip, the Internet of things, smart energy systems and integrated circuits, among others. The WIWA2024 intends to build a digital and physical hybrid platform that will bring experts from a number of areas together to pool their knowledge and come up with innovative interdisciplinary solutions for issues such as the aforementioned and other issues now emerging. Through master lectures, talks and debates, attendees will acquire exhaustive knowledge of the latest technologies and leading digital trends.
  • 25 - 26 January| Insolvency Study Conference - Basque Country

    • On 25 and 26 January Palacio de Miramar will be the venue for a conference focusing on the study of insolvency. The event, in the format of a table discussion-debate, will be attended by approximately 200 experts in the various subjects to be examined, from the legal-academic and professional perspectives. Although the event is held in the Basque Country, the idea is that it should appeal to professionals from every corner of the state.
