Donostia / San Sebastián stands out in the ICCA world ranking of congresses

Donostia/San Sebastián maintains 7th position at national level in the latest ranking published by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) on professional events held in the year 2023.
With 15 professional events accepted by ICCA, Donostia/San Sebastian is only surpassed by larger destinations such as Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Seville, Bilbao and Malaga.
Internationally, San Sebastian is ranked 150th; and at European level, 85th.
It should be noted that for the elaboration of this ranking, ICCA only considers international associative events that meet the requirement of having 50 or more participants, of being organised on a regular basis over time and of rotating between at least three different countries.
Donostia/San Sebastián has been a member of the ICCA global community for more than 30 years, considered the most prestigious in the meetings sector of international associations. ICCA's network of members is currently made up of more than 1,000 suppliers to the international meetings industry from almost 100 countries.
Donostia San Sebastián Turismoa, through its Convention Bureau, is committed to promoting the MICE sector (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), for its contribution to the deseasonalisation and positioning of Donostia / San Sebastián on an international level, and for being a source of attraction of talent and knowledge for the city.
